ZanAir

ZanAir Limited, founded in 1992, is a prominent domestic airline based in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The airline was established by Carl G. Salisbury with an objective to tap into the burgeoning tourism industry of Zanzibar and the surrounding Tanzanian region. Notably, the inaugural flight took off on May 4, 1991, piloted by Salisbury himself in a Piper Seneca II. Over the years, ZanAir has made significant strides in connecting various destinations within Tanzania, providing travelers with reliable flight services.

ZanAir operates scheduled flights to the following destinations: Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Pemba Island, Saadani National Park, Selous Game Reserve, and its hub in Zanzibar.
