Zagros Airlines


Zagros Airlines is an Iranian airline established in 2005 with its headquarters in Tehran. Operating out of Mehrabad International Airport, the airline has grown since its inception to include international routes. The airline’s history is marked by significant milestones, including the acquisition of Iran’s first Airbus A319 in 2016 and its commitment to promoting gender equality, as evidenced by the hiring of the first female pilot after the Iranian Revolution. Today, Zagros Airlines serves a diverse range of 23 destinations with a fleet size of 13 aircraft.


As of May 2023, Zagros Airlines provides flight services to various cities in Georgia, Iran, Iraq, and Uzbekistan. Major cities include Batumi, Tbilisi, Abadan, Ahvaz, Ardabil, Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, Chabahar, Isfahan, Kerman, Kish, Mashhad, Qeshm, Shiraz, Tabriz, Tehran, Baghdad, Najaf, and Tashkent.


Zagros Airlines boasts a fleet comprising Airbus A319-100, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321-200, McDonnell Douglas MD-82, and McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft.
