Tunisair Express

Tunisair Express, originally founded as Tuninter in 1991, is a subsidiary of the national carrier Tunisair. Located in Tunis, Tunisia, its primary base is at Tunis-Carthage International Airport. With a rich history, it underwent rebranding as SevenAir in 2007 before ultimately becoming Tunisair Express in 2011. The airline focuses on domestic routes within Tunisia but also extends its services to selected international destinations like Italy, France, and Malta.


Tunisair Express operates primarily domestic flights within Tunisia, connecting cities such as Djerba, Gabès, Gafsa, Monastir, Sfax, Tabarka, Tozeur, and Tunis. Internationally, it serves destinations in Italy (Naples and Palermo), Malta, and France. The main hub for its operations is the Tunis-Carthage International Airport.


As of January 2020, Tunisair Express’s fleet is primarily composed of regional aircraft, specifically ATR 72 models. They operate two ATR 72-500s with a seating capacity of 70 passengers each and two ATR 72-600s with a capacity of 72 passengers each. An additional ATR 72-600 is also on order.
