Skippers Aviation

Skippers Aviation is a regional airline headquartered at Perth Airport in Western Australia, founded in 1990. The airline specializes in charter flights. Skippers Aviation is the largest provider of fly-in fly-out services to the mining sector in the region, operating numerous weekly flights to support major mining companies and sites. The airline also operates some scheduled regular public transport (RPT) flights. In addition to its main hub at Perth Airport, Skippers Aviation has a secondary base in Broome to service the Kimberley region.

Destinations

Skippers Aviation operates scheduled services out of Perth and Broome, serving regional destinations such as Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, Laverton, Leonora, Meekatharra, Mount Magnet, and Wiluna. The airline is especially prominent in servicing the northern Goldfields and the Kimberley region.

The fleet includes 3 Cessna 441 Conquest II, based out of Broome, 4 de Havilland Canada DHC-8-100 Dash 8, 6 de Havilland Canada/Bombardier DHC-8-300 Dash 8, 6 Embraer EMB 120ER Brasilia (which were placed into long-term storage in December 2020), 5 Fairchild SA227-DC Metro 23, and 2 Fokker 100.
