Portugália Airlines

Portugália Airlines, founded in 1988, started operations in 1990 and is a subsidiary of TAP Air Portugal. It operated domestic and international flights as part of the TAP Express network. Known for service quality, it once boasted a fleet including Fokker 100 and Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft, later transitioning to Embraer 190 and 195 jets. In 2022, plans were announced for its integration into TAP Portugal as part of restructuring.

Portugália Airlines served destinations within TAP Express’s network, including domestic and European cities, with an emphasis on connecting Portugal to various regional markets.

After renewing its fleet in 2016, Portugália Airlines operated with 9 Embraer 190 and 4 Embraer 195 aircraft, under the TAP express brand, reflecting a modern and efficient fleet.
