Max Air, Nigeria’s airline, was founded in 2008 by business magnate Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal. Based in Kano, Nigeria, its headquarters are located in Kano State, with its primary hub at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport. Over the years, Max Air has established a reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading airlines, offering both domestic and international flight services. The airline initially began as Mangal Airlines in 2006, rebranding to Max Air in 2008 and has since expanded its network to several domestic and international destinations.


Max Air serves a mixture of seven domestic and two international scheduled destinations, covering states across Nigeria and extending its wings to the Middle East. Some of its prominent destinations include cities like Kano, Abuja, Lagos, Jeddah, and Madinah, reflecting the airline’s commitment to connecting Nigeria with the world.
