Maldivian is the airline division of Island Aviation Services, based in Malé, Maldives, and functions as the country’s flag carrier. Incorporated in 2000, the airline initially served only domestic airports within the Maldives. However, it has since expanded to offer international flights, maintaining its main base at Velana International Airport.

Maldivian operates both domestic and international flights. Domestically, it caters to various airports in the Maldives, including Velana International Airport, Gan International Airport, Fuvahmulah Airport, and more. Internationally, it provides services to destinations like Dhaka, Bangladesh and Cochin, and Trivandrum in India.
Airplanes
As of April 2023, the Maldivian fleet includes diverse aircraft models. It operates the Airbus A320-200, ATR 42-600, ATR 72-600, Bombardier Dash 8 Q200 and Q300, and the de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter Series 300. Additionally, it has orders for Airbus A330-200 and further ATR 42-600 units.
