Established in 2019 and stationed in Sofia, Bulgaria, Holiday Europe Limited emerged as a Bulgarian charter airline that rapidly garnered attention in the European aviation domain. In its early days, a significant investment was made by German citizen Mr. Aybars Balabaner, and support, both technically and logistically, was received from Onur Air. Initially, Balabaner held a hefty 95% ownership in Holiday Europe Ltd., while 5% was with Managing Director Petko Christoff. By December 2021, a shift in ownership occurred, with Jet Sky Ltd. acquiring 90% of Balabaner’s shares. After a brief suspension, as of June 2022, its Air Operating Certificate (AOC) is active.
Holiday Europe has been dedicated to furnishing charter flights from various European airports, drawing pathways to leisure destinations that span the aesthetic locales of the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, Egypt, and the UAE. These destinations, coveted by holidaymakers, delineated a significant part of the airline’s operational focus, enabling passengers to embark on recreational journeys across Europe and beyond.
Holiday Europe’s fleet comprised of an Airbus A321-200, with the capacity to accommodate 219 passengers. Although the fleet size may appear limited, the airline has navigated through the competitive skies of the charter flight market, connecting travelers with beloved holiday destinations. The focused fleet allows for specialized operations, connecting particular routes that align with the vacationing endeavors of its passengers.
