FlyPelican is an Australian regional airline founded in 2014 and headquartered in Newcastle, New South Wales. With its operating base at Newcastle Airport, the airline primarily serves destinations across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. FlyPelican came into existence thanks to the efforts of former Aeropelican staff, utilizing former Aeropelican aircraft. The company is the only airline currently based in Newcastle and operates under the slogan “Fly Local, Fly Pelican.” The airline also provides ad hoc and contracted charter services and is a member of the Velocity Frequent Flyer program run by Virgin Australia.

As of July 2023, FlyPelican operates scheduled flights to several destinations including Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory and various locations in New South Wales such as Albury, Ballina, Cobar, Mudgee, Newcastle, and Sydney. The airline also operated flights to terminated destinations like Taree, Port Macquarie, Dubbo, and Bathurst in New South Wales, Adelaide in South Australia, and Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
