FlyErbil, known as the first Kurdish airline in Iraq, is based at Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan Region. Founded in 2015, the airline faced a delay of three years in commencing its operations due to the ISIL offensive in northern Iraq. With a commitment to connecting Erbil to diverse international destinations, FlyErbil began its journey by inaugurating its first flight in June 2018.

FlyErbil connects Erbil with a range of international destinations. As of March 2022, it operates flights to cities like Ankara, Antalya, Amsterdam, Baghdad, Baku, Beirut, Cologne, Copenhagen, Damascus, Dubai, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hanover, Istanbul, Munich, Paris, Prague, Trabzon, Tunis, and Yerevan. Some routes, such as those to Ankara, Antalya, Baku, Cologne, and Yerevan, are seasonal.
Airplanes
FlyErbil’s fleet consists of a Boeing 737-300 and an Airbus A319, with more aircraft on order. Specifically, they operate one Boeing 737-300 with two more on order, and one Airbus A319 with an additional one on order.
