Blue Micronesia Airlines (BMA) is a privately held airline that was incorporated in June 2014 and is based in Guam. The airline is committed to bridging the gaps between various island communities, with a focus on offering reliable, frequent, and cost-effective flights. Initially providing direct air service between Guam and Saipan using comfortable 36-seater DHC-8-100/200 passenger aircraft, BMA aims to expand its network to include future direct flights to Palau, Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), and Majuro in the Marshall Islands. BMA is in the process of obtaining its FAA Part 135 air carrier certificate to operate its own commercial flights and is also exploring the acquisition of a Part 121/135 AOC to expedite the launch of its airline services.
