Azores Airlines, formerly known as SATA Internacional, is a Portuguese airline that operates out of the autonomous region of the Azores. It primarily functions to connect the Azores with mainland Europe and North America, forming a geographical and cultural bridge.
A major part of its flight operation links the nine islands of the Azores between each other, as well as to mainland Portugal and other international destinations such as Canada, the United States, and several European countries including Spain, Germany, and the UK.
