Air Travel airline, based in Changsha, Hunan, China, is a domestic airline that commenced operations in May 2016. Initially introduced as Hongtu Airlines, the carrier underwent a rebranding phase in 2018, adopting the “Air Travel” moniker. With a history rooted deeply in the region’s vibrant red earth culture of Dongchuan District, Yunnan, the airline’s original name “Hongtu” translates to ‘red soil’. This connection is even evident in its livery, inspired by Yunnan’s famed red earth.

Air Travel operates a myriad of domestic flights spanning across China. With key hubs in Changsha Huanghua International Airport, Kunming Changshui International Airport, Nanjing Lukou International Airport, and Sunan Shuofang International Airport, the airline services several major cities such as Lanzhou, Zhuhai, Guilin, Hailar, Nanchang, Changchun, and many more.
