Air Timor

Up

Air Timor, formally known as Air Timor S.A., is a prominent travel company headquartered in Dili, East Timor. Founded in 2007, the company functions as an airline, primarily operating charter flights. As of October 2019, it offers services from Dili to both Kupang, in collaboration with TransNusa, and to Singapore, in partnership with Drukair. While it currently does not have any aircraft registered under its own name, Air Timor’s vision is to become East Timor’s primary international and domestic airline. Notably, its operations are deeply rooted in the community, with several domestic public investors and a Board of Directors majorly comprised of Timorese representatives.

Flights

Air Timor provides key connectivity in the region, operating flights from its hub in Dili to destinations such as Kupang and Singapore. Historically, it has also operated routes to Bali, Indonesia. As of the most recent updates, the airline offers a thrice-weekly service to Kupang using an ATR 72-600 and twice-weekly flights to Singapore with an Airbus A319, both through charter arrangements.

Airplanes

Although Air Timor doesn’t own or operate aircraft under its own registry, it relies on wet-leased aircraft for its operations. Currently, it uses the Airbus A319-100 leased from Drukair and the ATR 72-600 from TransNusa to facilitate its charter flights.
