Air North

Air North, known as Yukon’s Airline, was established in 1977 by Joe Sparling and Tom Wood. This airline has significantly grown from its early days, offering charter flights and flight training to becoming a major provider of scheduled passenger and cargo services. Air North connects various Canadian territories and provinces, including Yukon, the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, and is distinguished by its exceptional customer service and community involvement, notably through its partnership with the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation.

Air North operates flights to several key destinations across Canada, including Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver, Victoria, Yellowknife, Ottawa, Toronto, Dawson City, Old Crow, with Whitehorse as its main hub. The airline also offers seasonal services to Yellowknife, Ottawa, and Toronto, addressing both passenger and cargo needs throughout its service areas.

The airline’s fleet includes ATR 42s, Boeing 737 Classics, and Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft, enabling a wide range of services from passenger transport to cargo and charter flights. This fleet diversity supports Air North’s operational flexibility and service quality.
