Aero Dili

Aero Dili, based in East Timor, operates from its hub at the Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport in Dili. Founded on 3 July 2017 by Lourenço de Oliveira, it began operations on 30 August 2018, serving both domestic and international destinations. Over the years, Aero Dili has experienced growth and faced challenges, from acquiring its initial fleet to overcoming obstacles in leasing agreements, eventually expanding to include jet aircraft like the Airbus A320, marking significant milestones for the East Timorese aviation sector.

Destinations

Having started with domestic services, Aero Dili has gradually expanded its network. The airline now operates flights connecting Dili to key destinations such as Bali Airport, Oecusse Airport, Baucau Airport, and Suai Airport. An important milestone was reached on 12 May 2023 when Aero Dili operated its first scheduled international flight to Denpasar/Bali, Indonesia.

Fleet

The Aero Dili fleet, as of March 2023, consists of an Airbus A320-232, primarily used for international routes, and a Cessna 207T for regional services. The airline has also placed orders for another Airbus A320 and a Cessna Grand Caravan 208B, reflecting its plans for expansion.
